“What children need most are the essentials that grandparents provide in abundance. They give unconditional love, kindness, patience, humor, comfort, lessons in life and most importantly, cookies.” — Rudy Giuliani

PP International School celebrated Grandparents’ Day with gratitude and compassion for all the grandparents of students on 18th September 2021, in the school premises. This event holds a significantly special place in our hearts as it is a great time to remind ourselves of what our elders mean to us. It is a celebration of selfless and infinite love and it is an opportunity for both grandparents and grandchildren to express affection and gratitude for each other.

Grandparents of Nursery and pre-primary students were invited to school. Teachers welcomed them with beautiful bouquets and a warm smile and a number of fun activities like dance, games and crafts with the students as well as their grandparents. Everyone participated with full zeal and enthusiasm and had a lot of fun together.

Independence day is celebrated annually on 15 August as a national holiday in India commemorating the nation’s independence from the United Kingdom on 15 August 1947. Thus with a lot of zeal and enthusiasm, it was celebrated at PP International School on 14 August 2021 for students of Grade Nursery to 12.

To avoid the gathering and keeping the current situation in mind, the students along with their parents were called for “INDEPENDENCE DAY and JANMASHTAMI DRIVE” in slots. Social distancing and sanitisation were strictly followed in the premises during the event.

Students were attired in traditional dresses and some of them even dressed up as our freedom fighters. With the beats of music and festive decorations, the ambience was filled with students’ laughter and smiles.

The happiness and excitement can be seen on the faces of PPIS students after entering the school premises and meeting their teachers.

Students were very excited and enjoyed the event thoroughly. The appreciable day gathered beautiful memories to be remembered by everyone.
